Dr K has practiced and taught qigong for nearly a decade. What is qigong?  It literally translates as: working with one’s own life energy and the resulting harvest of that work. Qigong involves gentle movements, done in a contemplative state of mind, which encourage the energy movement through the body to be restored to a more optimal flow. Dr K will sometimes teach a person a few simple gestures of qigong to aid in the body’s overall energy field health. These can be done sitting, standing or lying down.
When qigong instruction is incorporated into an office visit there is no additional charge for this. An in-depth session of qigong only is not covered by insurance; fee is determined by the length of session.
